DMR Collation’s founder and Managing Director is celebrating winning a top industry award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the legal profession. Caroline Packer has been presented with the President’s Award for 2017 by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).
The annual award goes to an individual who has made a special contribution to CILEx, upholding its ethos and values which include promoting and upholding professional standards of conduct and co-operation and mutual assistance.
Since establishing DMR Collation Ltd in 2010, Caroline has developed the business into a cutting edge, cost effective, efficient and time saving service for clinical negligence and personal injury lawyers in the collation and analysis of medical records.
The President’s Award recognises Caroline’s dedication to analysis of evidence and proper collation of records as well as her support and mentoring of fellow legal professionals.
She accepted the award at an officially ceremony held in Milton Keynes in October 2017 the President of CILEx, Millicent Grant.
A spokesman for CILEx said: “This year’s winner is a chartered legal executive who has built on a successful career as a lawyer to set up her own business. She completed her CILEx studies part time and specialises in clinical negligence and personal injury law. She supported the development of other legal professions through mentoring, training and ongoing supervision. Anyone familiar with this area of law knows that proper collation and analysis of evidence is critical. It is not an area of legal practice that often gets the spotlight, but it is essential to the effective administration of justice. The lives of some of the most vulnerable people and their families depend on it being done right. This year’s winner now dedicates herself to this task, promoting professional unity, cooperation and mutual assistance between legal professionals. She proudly now holds the position of Managing Director of her own business, something which would not have been possible without CILEx.”
Caroline commented: “I am honoured and humbled to receive the President’s award from the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. For my efforts to be recognised by members of the legal community I have sought to support and grow with, is a tremendous personal achievement. I would like to thank my team for their continued support throughout the years. DMR Collation is building a strong legal client base, which makes this award both a milestone for myself and my company. Thank you.”
