Following a very successful 12 months, it has just been announced that Caroline Packer, managing director and founder of DMR Collation has been shortlisted for another notable national award.
Against exceptionally tough competition, her business acumen and industry success has earned her the shortlisting in the category of Visionary Leadership in the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) inaugural national awards.
The sought-after award attracted a high calibre of nominees, so it is a major accolade for Caroline to be shortlisted.
She said: “I am extremely pleased to have been shortlisted for this award. It recognises the company’s achievements, progress and success, none of which would be possible without the support of my highly qualified and experienced team of staff. This industry is very competitive and to be able to continue to win new clients and expand the business takes hard work and effort, so it is particularly encouraging that this has been acknowledged in these awards. My focus is to remain at the cutting edge of this niche specialism, continuing to deliver a professional product, improve and expand our services while providing a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment for all DMR Collation staff”.
CILEx Chief Executive Linda Ford, who was one of the judges, said: “What was especially encouraging was the high standard of the entries which made our job pleasingly difficult. They offered a reminder, if any were needed, of the contribution our members make to their clients, the profession and the rule of law”.
To reach the shortlisting, Caroline had to demonstrate, in detail, how her vision has translated into a successful business. Criteria included: clear vision and business success, show strong and inspirational leadership and motivation, develop and deliver innovative strategy, show commitment and enthusiasm to support colleagues and demonstrate a track record of delivering results.
Glowing testimonials from a growing list of very satisfied clients supported the nomination.
These first CILEx national awards recognise individuals and teams that are providing exemplary service, advice and support to personal injury, clinical negligence and abuse claim lawyers.
CLIEx president Millicent Grant commented: “We are proud to support and represent a wealth of talented people and organisations and want to acknowledge those who are leading the way and those whose work closely aligns to our mission, our vision and values. The law is an ever-changing, forward-thinking sector and it is time for CILEx and its members to be loud and proud about the role we play in it. These awards showcase what a vibrant part of the profession we represent.”
This is the latest in an increasing line of accolades won over the last 12 months by Caroline and her company. She was presented with the CILEx President’s Award in October 2017 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the industry. In January this year, the company was highly commended at the Modern Law Awards in the category of Supporting the Industry, in March the firm was a finalist in the practice efficiency category of the LegalEx Legal and Cyber Security awards and in April the company was a Finalist in two Legal Week Innovation Awards 2018 for Supplier Innovation in Technology and Services.
