STAFF at DMR Collation are celebrating news that the company has been shortlisted for yet another prestigious award.

For the second year running, the firm has been recognised in the Modern Law awards in the category of Supporting the Industry.

Last year, DMR Collation was highly commended in this same category.

Managing director and founder Caroline Packer said: “This is absolutely brilliant news.  Being shortlisted again for this category demonstrates that our wide range of services and our innovative approach to our business merits industry-wide recognition.  We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of the industry and are constantly evolving to improve our services.  Since we started eight years ago, we believe we have made a key contribution to the industry with the creation and implementation of the digitising of medical records and has helped to bring medical records collation and analysis into the next generation”.

The detailed submission had to show evidence of supporting aspects of the legal industry; that the support facilitated an increased level of expertise, professionalism and innovation and that the clients’ experience or performance has been improved and value added.  This was supported by comments from several clients.

Now in their sixth year, the Modern Law awards were launched to identify talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in modern legal services.  The awards reflect the ever-increasing reorganisation, new legal entities and business dynamism of service providers as well as showcasing best practice.  Deciding on the winners falls to a panel of acclaimed judges from across the profession.

The winners will be announced at a glittering black tie award ceremony to be held on Thursday January 31 at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, hosted by Welsh comedian Rob Woodward.
