Chartered Legal Executive of the Year 2019 shortlisting

 

Caroline Packer, our Managing Director and founder, last night attended the Devon and Somerset Law Society Awards alongside our Operations Director, Kathryn Martin. Caroline was exceedingly proud to be shortlisted for the award of Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) of the Year 2019 at the in this most highly contended of categories and to be nominated alongside some other very worthy candidates.

The bar was set high by the judges who were looking for an exemplar for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives who will likely have achieved particular recognition for their professional work and / or their work in their community or charitable body. The Judging Panel looked for CILEx Fellows who have achieved particular success within their organisation, worked in a ground-breaking area of law, made a specific contribution to their community and / or made contribution to promoting access to the legal profession. They will be an exemplar for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and will likely have achieved particular recognition for their professional work and / or their work in their community or charitable body.

The category of Chartered Legal Executive of the Year was brand new to the Devon and Somerset Law Society who have been running the awards since 2016. Since their inception, the objective of these awards has been to recognise the high calibre of law firms practicing within this particular area and to celebrate the achievements of both winning and shortlisted firms and individuals.

Caroline said this morning “DASLS did us proud last night, what a wonderful event.  My congratulations go out to Ian Hunt, Managing Director at East Devon Law who won the award.  I am thrilled to have been shortlisted for this category. It’s testament to the benefits that my company offers to the legal profession and to the hard work that I and my team do. We work in a highly competitive industry so to continue to gain new clients and expand on the products and services offered requires a lot of dedication. It’s a major achievement for me to be recognised by DASLS.”

The DASLS Awards took place in the beautiful surroundings of Exeter Cathedral. It was a spectacular evening with everyone who is anyone working within the Legal Industry in Devon and Somerset attending.
